Head over to my new site.

Hi there!

Hope all is well.My personal blog has reached it’s first year and it was definitely a learning curve, I mean it still is. However, I’ll admit that it gets easier when you get a hang of the momentum. One thing to notice is that I’ve migrated it to a new web host and updated my domain as well. For updates you can subscribe at www.rebecapangan.com.

I’ll continue to write about things I’m passionate about including books and good eats. Please bear with me as I continue to tweak my site on this new platform, fingers crossed I get this all done before I turn another year older.

Have a good week ahead!

Hello there! Before anything else, let me wish you a happy chinese new year! I just love how I get to celebrate new year twice. Amidst the festivities, I was busy trying to get my blog a theme upgrade and migrate it to a new host but since that’s all taking more time time than expected, I’m sticking to my current platform until that’s completed.

Another thing to notice below is my niece-god daughter. Isn’t she just the most adorable being ever? My sister can’t recall where she purchased her jumpsuit so I’ve omitted it. Bummer really, because the writing  “win like a girl” highlights how even children look even better empowered.

PS. Let’s not compare this to the phrase “be a man” because really , I do believe this was meant to be words of encouragement.

Happy weekend!

Hello there!

I’m still not used to having my photos taken when I wear my glasses. So I choose not to wear them when I take blog photos and this allows me to have the vision capacity of a new born baby. Though , if you haven’t already noticed, I did include one photo in this post with my glasses on.

Now let’s talk about what I’m wearing, this pair of converse has been with me for quite awhile now but I don’t wear them often since the color contrasts with my usual attire choices. I think it’s inherently more difficult when you overthink matching clothing or that I just love to play it safe?  But one thing I’ll definitely not let go of and that is comfort. In Tagalog, it’s what we call “Tiis Ganda”, nope, not going to succumb to this. Well , at least for now I won’t.

Til next time,

Beca

Hello there!

I’m officially old as I became one of the Godmothers of my former colleague’s adorable baby Chloe. Though, I haven’t added pictures from the christening, it’s a new experience that I’d like to share as the only other Goddaughter I have is my niece, who I love to the moon and back.

There was an interval between the christening and reception, providing us ample time for a detour. Hence, I visited my alma mater, University of Macau(UM).

UM’s moved to a new and bigger campus since I’ve graduated. The area I got these taken is where the library’s located, it’s also my favorite place ; a bonus is that they have Pacific Coffee right next to it.

With love,

Beca

Hello again!

As mentioned before, I intend on writing about Joseff’s fashion sense and since these set were mine for the blogging, I find it fitting that it become my second blog post for 2017.

You’ll notice that the setting is exactly the same as my previous post here. We routinely have photos taken on the same day which in turn maximizes productivity for the both of us. It’s already the second week of the year, have you broken any new years resolutions yet?

Well ,if your answer’s “yes”, here’s to trying even harder to keep them.

Til next time,

Beca

First of all, a happy new year to you!

I dressed up on Christmas Eve last year because I felt like it was only deserving and I was in the brightest mood ever but I didn’t have the time of day while I was on vacation to blog.

This  was one of the most memorable and wonderful vacation I’ve ever been on.

2016 was indeed a year for the books and the year I established this personal blog so I can’t believe it’s gonna turn 1 year old soon.

Here’s to an even more remarkable 2017 ahead.

Til next time,

Hello there! Macau is still experiencing summer weather and it’s almost the last week of December.

24 degrees celsius is clearly not winter but I ain’t fretting because my favorite holiday is here!!I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about Christmas since I was 5 years old.

Here’s why , this 2016 has taken a toll on me and this is one holiday that makes me happy ,I’m guessing I can say the same for people who’s gotten affected by current events , like the most recent one: Aleppo. By the way , if you’re wondering how you help ,you can donate to relief efforts here.

Spread love and kindness, the world needs more of it.

Hello there!

This post is personal because I cannot stress enough how many times I’ve felt like going a size up makes me question if I did indeed gain weight or if the clothing material just didn’t flatter my body.

I’d like to encourage whoever reading this not to subscribe to the dominant body image narrative that extra small and small are the appropriate sizes to go. No, I won’t deny that I’ve got clothes in them sizes but I must say that I’ve purchased clothing that are in sizes medium or even large.

Word of advice,  judge what you wear according to how you see fit and feel free to explore the size ranges.

PS. The dress I’m wearing is in a size large.

Till next time,

Beca

Hello there!

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post ,I’ve become fond of the color pastel pink, so to maintain a balance, I’ve willingly worn this ensemble by Joseff. The combined colors of pastel pink , custard brown and dirty grey made me skeptical but anything woolen is a big yes these days as Macau is finally hit by the much expected cold.

On the bright side and thanks to Hotel Malls, the weather is still skirt friendly and I think you can get away with it ; especially if your wearing sheer or opaque stockings.

Counting down the days to Christmas and boy am I excited , because after 23 more days, we’ll be celebrating my favorite festival!!

Much Love,

Beca

Hi there!

Lately, I’ve been crushing on all things pastel pink. I was never a fan of anything pink so it comes as a surprise that I’ve been shopping stuff within that color scheme. I’ve noticed how it’s cohesive with my bags and even style appropriate for Autumn.

The place I got these photos taken is new to me. It was my first time to have gone to this area. The tourist traffic was low so it seems like not many people already know about this area. Frankly speaking it reminds me of the Met Steps. It’s within the pedestrian link-bridge between Four Seasons Hotel and Sands Cotai Central. Look for a side entrance after you pass Dolce & Gabbana? I’m also not sure since I paid little attention to the shops around me.

Have an awesome week ahead!

With Love,

Beca
